I think the single toughest thing about getting Space Frigates up and going is finding the time to work on it.
Between working full time, spending time with the family, working out and all the chores that come with maintaining a home there just doesn’t seem to be a lot of time left over.
But I know people do it. I think it just boils down to good planning and execution. You can really get a lot done working thirty minutes here and there in-between other things if you have remember to do it.
Of course getting through any kind of serious programming often requires a little more concerted effort which I try to get done over the weekend. For example, tomorrow I’m hoping to get that client side prediction code done that I talked about earlier in the week.
One thing I have found is that I can not just stay up late anymore to get things done. I used to be able to just stay up half the night and write code. But I just can’t do that anymore, it really affects my health.
Any thoughts on how to find extra time during the day? Leave a comment below, if you have time! 😉
